(Bright, Ind.) – A person of interest is being sought for questioning after items were taken from several unlocked vehicles in Bright last week.
Last Friday night and early Saturday morning, items ranging from GPS units to car keys were stolen from vehicles parked outside on Blasdel Drive, Stothers Drive, and Memorial Drive. In one case, a woman’s credit card was taken from her vehicle.
The credit card was later used at several stores in Western Hills, Hamilton County, Ohio. Dearborn County Special Crimes Unit detectives have obtained a surveillance image from one of those stores. Police believe the images may show the man who committed the thefts.
Investigators also say the thief may have been driving a newer model silver passenger car, possibly a Chrysler product.
Anybody who may be able to identify the man in the surveillance photo or provide more information that can help the investigation is asked to call the Dearborn County Special Crimes Unit’s 24-hour tip line at (812) 537-3571.
