(Union, Ky.) – Boone County Sheriff’s detectives have arrested a rape suspect.
Timothy Schroeder, 37, of Union, Kentucky, was taken into custody this week and charged with one count of Rape 3rd Degree and four counts of Sexual Abuse 1st Degree.
The charges stem from a rape and multiple sexual acts that allegedly occurred last August.
The juvenile victim identified Schroeder as the perpetrator. He was later interviewed by detectives, where he allegedly confessed to the crimes.
Schroeder is held at the Boone County Detention Center on $500,000 cash bond.
