Two Killed In Burlington Pike Crash

The three vehicle crash was reported around 11:33 a.m. Tuesday morning.

(Burlington, Ky.) – Two people are dead after a head-on collision in northern Kentucky.

Boone County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 4300 block of Burlington Pike around 11:33 a.m.

Deputies say the accident involved two passenger cars and a dump truck.

A male and female in the same vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene. The sole occupant of the other passenger vehicle was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence after sustaining non-life-threatening injuries.

The dump truck driver also sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to UC Medical Center.

The names of victims have not been released at this time as the crash remains under investigation.

The Boone County Sheriff’s Office says the 4300 block of Burlington Pike will be completely shut down for several hours.
