Train vs. Truck Accident Reported Thursday in Holton

(Ripley County, Ind.) - The Ripley County Sheriff's Office responded to a train versus truck accident on Thursday evening. 

According to Sheriff Rob Bradley, the accident took place just after 6:00 in the area of West Faulkner Avenue and West Broadway Street in Holton. 

The driver of the truck, Adam Franklin, 37, of Holton, sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash. 

The Ripley County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by: the Indiana State Police, Osgood Police Department, Holton Fire Department, Todd’s Wrecker Service, and the Ripley County Communications Center.  

No further details were released.
