Tractor Tipped On SR 262

The condition of State Road 262 was reported to INDOT.

(Ohio County, Ind.) – A crumbling roadway is being blamed for causing a tractor to topple over in Ohio County.

The accident happened on State Road 262 near White Road on Saturday, May 12. The Ohio County Sheriff’s Office says the tractor owned by Sam Fox Farms was being driven by Doug Walston when it overturned on a section of the highway that was falling away.

Walston was not injured.

The sheriff’s office said the Indiana Department of Transportation was notified of the road condition.
