Crews will be hitting alleyways once roads are complete.

(Vevay, Ind.) – The Town of Vevay issued a public notice this week, asking residents to refrain from plowing alleyways.
According to town officials, the majority of the town’s alleyways have multiple manholes and meters located within them.
The snow cover insulates the ground beneath, leaving it soft. Plowing in these areas could potentially lead to major problems and expenses if one happens to be “caught” by a piece of equipment.
Road crews will be sent to alleyways once the roads are complete.
