Toby Keith Passes Away at 62

The country music icon had been battling stomach cancer since June 2022.

NASHVILLE - The country music world is mourning the death of Toby Keith.

He passed away on Monday at the age of 62 after a battle with stomach cancer.

The Oklahoma native charted 61 singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, including 20 number one hits and 22 additional top 10 hits.

His longest-lasting number one hits are “Beer for My Horses” and “As Good as I Once Was” at six weeks each.

Keith was first diagnosed with stomach cancer in June 2022.
