Three Dead in Owen County Helicopter Crash

The crash took place on Monday around 5:30 p.m.

(Owen County, Ky.) - Kentucky State Police responded to a helicopter crash in Owenton near Kentucky Highway 22 East on Monday afternoon. 

Upon arrival, Troopers located an Air Evac flight which had three personnel on board that had been en-route to a medical transport.

The three passengers, Gale Alleman, Bethany Aicken, and James Welch were pronounced deceased at the scene by the Owen County Coroner. 

The investigation is ongoing and is being conducted by the NTSB and the FAA. 

No further information has been provided.
