(Osgood, Ind.) - This December, The Upper Room Café in Osgood is hosting a 12 Days of Coffee event designed to spotlight organizations that serve some of the most vulnerable people in our region — from children facing life threatening illnesses to families struggling through crisis.
Each day of the event highlights a different group, and together they represent an incredibly wide range of needs within Southeastern Indiana. These include:
- Dec. 11: Bucket Buddies Mission — creating comfort buckets for children facing life threatening illnesses and delivering hope to nursing home residents
- Dec. 12: Special Olympics — supporting individuals with special needs through community inclusion, sports, and empowerment
- Dec. 14: Women of Alabaster — offering support and recovery pathways for women in crisis
- Dec. 15: Salvation Army — providing local families with food, emergency help, and Christmas assistance
- Dec. 16: Habitat for Humanity — helping families secure safe and affordable housing
- Dec. 17: Phi Beta Psi — funding cancer research and offering direct help to cancer patients
- Dec: 18: Backpack Buddies — feeding children who may not have meals outside of school
- Dec. 19: Child Evangelism Fellowship — offering youth programs and support for kids in the community
- Dec. 21: Gibault Inc. — providing critical treatment and care for youth facing behavioral or emotional struggles
- Dec. 22: Letters to Active Military — sending encouragement and support to service members away from home during the holiday
The café will also feature a new surprise drink or food item each day, creating a festive environment that brings steady foot traffic — giving these organizations real face-to-face opportunities to share their mission.

- Santa visits on December 21, offering a strong visual and family-friendly moment
- Guests who try all 12 drinks will receive a free Upper Room Christmas ornament
