(Aurora, Ind.) - The Dearborn County Recycling Center is hosting a Hazardous Waste Collection Day on May 14, 2022.
The collection will take place at the old North Dearborn Elementary parking lot from 8 a.m. to noon.
Participants should enter from North Dearborn Road.
This event is for Dearborn County residents only.
Examples of accepted items include:
- bug sprays
- pool chemicals
- epoxy/adhesives
- oil-based paints and stains
- gasoline & kerosene
- brake fluid
- grease and degreasers
- drain openers
- bleach
- oven cleaners
- hair dyes and perm chemicals
All items are free to drop off.
Household Hazardous Waste materials can also be dropped off at the Recycling Center during drive thru hours.
