Temporary Signal In Place On S.R. 1 Near Guilford

This project will begin on Monday, June 15.

(Dearborn Co., Ind.) — A temporary traffic signal has been placed on S.R. 1 near Guilford ahead of a slide repair project.

At the moment, traffic is restricted to one lane as temporary pavement is placed.

On Monday, June 15, traffic will shift to the inside lane for repairs to begin. The work zone will continue to allow traffic in a one-lane configuration controlled by this temporary signal.

An 11-foot restriction will be in place throughout the project. Wide loads should utilize U.S. 50 to I-275 to I-74.

This project is expected to be completed by late October, with additional work continued through June 2021. After October, there should be minimal impacts to traffic.

Remember to slow down and drive distraction-free through all work zones.

All work is weather dependent and schedules are subject to change.
