Switzerland Co. Sheriff Seeking Info On Construction Equipment Vandalism

A $1,500 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.

(Patriot, Ind.) - A reward is being offered for the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for shooting the windows out of some construction equipment in Switzerland County.

According to the Switzerland County Sheriff’s Office, the vandalism took just a couple miles out of Patriot on State Road 156 headed towards Vevay on January 3 between 7:30 and 8:00 p.m.

A witness saw a maroon, faded, rusty colored full sized truck with a loud muffler driving with their headlights out past the equipment around the same time as the vandalism.

Anyone with information about the incident should contact the Switzerland County Sheriff at 812-427-3636.
