Sunman Fire Seeking Area Youth for Cadet Program

Cadets will learn about fire safety, emergency first aid and more.

(Sunman, Ind.) – The Sunman Rural Fire Department is looking for local area youth interested in gaining insight into fire and emergency services.

Through the fire department’s Fire Cadet Program, youth between the ages of 15 and 18 participate in various activities associated with community service, fire safety, emergency first aid, and more.

All prospective candidates must have successfully completed the eighth grade and/or still be enrolled in high school and have approval from their parent or guardian.

Before being admitted to the program, all candidates must truthfully complete a standard application.
