Students Interested in Career in Law Enforcement Can Apply for Scholarship

The Indiana Sheriffs' Association is offering approximately 40 scholarships of $750 each.

(Ripley County, Ind.) - Students interested in pursuing a career in law enforcement can now apply for the Indiana Sheriffs' Association Scholarship. 

High school seniors or college students aiming to major in criminal justice are eligible to be the recipient of approximately 40 scholarships of $750 each. 

In order to apply you must be:

  • An Indiana resident
  • Current member of the Indiana Sheriffs' Association or a dependent child/grandchild of a member
  • Must attend an Indiana college or university
  • Major in a law enforcement field
  • Enrolled as a full-time student (12 credit hours)

How to Apply:

  • Pick up the application paperwork at our office or your high school counselor’s office.
