Street Closures Announces for Whiskey City Challenge, Pickin' N Sippin' Events

The events take place this Saturday, July 18

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - If you live or work in downtown Lawrenceburg, you may need to move your vehicle for this Saturday's Whiskey City Bike Challenge and Pickin' N Sippin' events. 

The events take place on Saturday, July 18. 

The Whiskey City Bike Challenge includes 10 hi-speed bicycle races and Celebrity Tri-Cycle Races. Bike race participants will travel counterclockwise around the racecourse outlined in red on the map. The first race is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. and the last finishes around 10:30 p.m.

Pickin' and Sippin' will feature seven bluegrass bands playing along Walnut Street from noon to 10:00 p.m.

• Walnut Street closed at Tate Street to High Street
• Short Street and Elm Street at Tate Street closed

Access to local residential and business properties will be available via intersections of William Street and Elm Street and Williams Street and Vine Street.
