(Dearborn County, Ind.) – A portion of State Road 46 in Dearborn County is scheduled to close for three days.
The Indiana Department of Transportation says the State Road 46 bridge over the Whitewater River will close this week for survey work in preparation for a $4.5 million bridge rehabilitation project scheduled to begin in August 2022.
Daily closures begin Monday, December 9 at 8:00 a.m. and will continue through Wednesday, December 11, weather permitting.
The bridge will reopen by 5:00 p.m. each day.
The official detour is U.S. 52 and Interstate 74.
