INDOT provided an update on the rehabilitation project on Tuesday.

(Ohio County, Ind.) - The reopening of the State Road 262 bridge over Laughery Creek is in sight.
Indiana Department of Transportation: Southeast announced Tuesday that the bridge is expected to reopen later this month.
The bridge deck overlay project over Laughery Creek started in early September.
INDOT says remaining work includes approach slabs, deck patching, latex overlay, bridge railing, and guardrail installation.
Motorists can continue to detour the work by following U.S. 50 and State Road 56.
