(Indianapolis, Ind.) — Dearborn County Federal Credit Union recently received the Governor’s Half Century Business Award recognizing its longstanding service in the community, according to State Rep. Randy Lyness (R-West Harrison).
According to Lyness, the financial services institution has been in continuous operation for 58 years.
"Dearborn County Federal Credit Union has not only provided our community with numerous jobs for nearly 60 years, it has helped people pursue their dreams of owning a home or buying a vehicle," Lyness said. "Its continued support for our area is worth recognizing, and we look forward to their continued service."
The 76 Indiana companies and organizations honored with the Governor’s Century or Half Century Business awards will be invited to participate in the 2021 ceremony, with this year's spring ceremony canceled due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
More than 1,560 Hoosier businesses have been recognized during award's 29-year history.
