State Police Investigating Rifle Theft From Unmarked Erlanger Police Cruiser

The theft took place early Tuesday morning in the area of Bingham Lane in Crittenden.

(Erlanger, Ky.) – An investigation is underway after a patrol rifle was stolen from an unmarked Erlanger Police cruiser.

Kentucky State Police say an unidentified male and female and a potential third suspect made entry into the unmarked cruiser that was parked outside an Erlanger Police Officer’s residence early Tuesday morning.

The suspects were seen on surveillance video parking in front of various residences in the area of Bingham Lane in Crittenden.

Investigators say the suspects were driving a newer model, dark-colored Ford F-150.
