The bridge is undergoing inspections July 29 through August 2.

(Dearborn County, Ind.) - The State Road 46 bridge over the Whitewater River in Dearborn County is closing daily this week for bridge inspection work in preparation for a $4.5 million bridge rehabilitation project scheduled to let in August 2022.
Closures are scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. on Monday, July 29, through Friday, August 2. The bridge will reopen by 5 p.m. each day. All work is weather dependent.
The official state detour for the closure is I-74 to S.R. 46 at Exit 164 (St. Leon).
