State Road 1 in Dearborn County will be closed for about three months.

(Dearborn County, Ind.) - The Indiana Department of Transportation announced today that contractors will resume work on a slide correction project on State Road 1 in Dearborn County just north of Sawdon Ridge Rd.
Contractors will close State Road 1 in both directions beginning on or after Monday, April 1.
State Road 1 will be open to Sawdon Ridge Road on the south end and North Dearborn Road on the north end during the closure.
The official state highway detour will follow I-74, I-275, and U.S. 50.
The highway is expected to reopen by June 30, weather depending.
