Southeastern Indiana REMC to Host First-Ever Safety Night

Experience a dynamic presentation by SEI REMC experts.

(Osgood, Ind.) - Southeastern Indiana REMC is hosting their first ever Safety Night on October 11 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The event will be held at the REMC Headquarters on Buckeye Street in Osgood. Festivities include a Live Line Safety Demonstration and other workshops to enhance your knowledge on electrical safety. 

Safety Workshops:

  1. Home Electrical Safety Learn practical skills to safeguard your home. Identify hazards, perform basic maintenance, and respond to emergencies effectively.​

  2. Preparing for Power Outages Empower yourself with strategies to maintain safety and comfort during outages. Be prepared with practical tips and proactive measures.

  3. Storm Preparedness and Electrical Safety Learn critical steps to protect your home and family during severe weather events. Equip yourself with essential electrical safety precautions.

  4. Generator Safety Understand safe usage and maintenance of portable generators. Learn placement, ventilation, and handling tips.

Live Line Safety Demonstration:
