Southeastern Career Center To Host Open House

This Thursday's event will feature a chili dinner.

(Versailles, Ind.) – Save the date. 

Southeastern Career Center will host an open house on Thursday, August 19 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Several organizations, colleges and universities will be in attendance. The event also includes a chili dinner and meet your teacher.

Among the attendees are Batesville Tool and Die, Heritage House of Greensburg, Waters of Madison, Decatur Mold, Johnson & Wales University, Military, Lutheran Community Home, Vincennes University, The Maschhoffs, Ivy Tech Community College, Universal Technical Institute, Sullivan University, Wood-Mizer, and more.

Southeastern Career Center, located in Versailles, is the first career and technical education center that was built in the state in 1964. The Southeastern Career Center serves six counties and 11 school districts in southeast Indiana by provide students with a learning environment that integrates technical skills and academic knowledge, while also promoting work ethics, citizenship, and self-esteem

The center has many courses available including automotive, cosmetology, dental, fire responder, IT, welding and more.
