Andrea Myers was recognized as an outstanding Career and Technical Education student by receiving a State Level Award.

(Indianapolis, Ind.) - A South Ripley High School student was honored at the Indiana Awards for Excellence (AFE) program yesterday.
Andrea Myers was recognized as an outstanding Career and Technical Education (CTE) student by receiving a State Level Award.
Myers was one of 55 honored at the program.
She currently attends the Southeastern Career Center and is in the Med Tech program which is apart of the Health Science program.
Mrs. Schmaltz, Myers' instructor, encouraged the student to apply for this CTE State Level Award.
The AFE program not only highlights the outstanding achievement of CTE students, but also the partners, programs and career advisement programs around the state that exemplify the ideal qualities of CTE.
The event was a time to celebrate Indiana's CTE and the excellence this past year.
