(Aurora, Ind.) - South Dearborn Community School Corporation is recognizing Superior Fire & Security LLC for their generous donation in support of student and staff safety across the district.
Through their contribution, Superior Fire has made it possible for SDCSC to purchase and install window and door identifiers at DES, AES, SDMS, and SDHS.
These identifiers play a critical role in strengthening emergency response efforts by allowing first responders to quickly and accurately locate specific areas within school buildings. In high-pressure situations, every second matters. Clear, visible identification of doors and windows enhances communication, improves coordination, and ultimately helps ensure a faster, more effective response to any emergency.
“School safety is not just a priority. It is a responsibility we all share,” said Mr. Borntrager. “We are incredibly thankful to Superior Fire & Security LLC for their partnership and commitment to protecting our students, staff, and community. Their generosity directly contributes to creating a safer learning environment for everyone.”
"SDCSC remains dedicated to continuously improving safety measures across all schools. Community partnerships like this one are invaluable in supporting that mission and reinforcing a culture where safety is at the forefront of every decision. The district sincerely thanks Superior Fire & Security LLC for their investment in the well-being of South Dearborn students and staff. Their support exemplifies the powerful impact of community collaboration and shared commitment to safety," reads a statement from South Dearborn Community School Corporation.
