The Christmas Giveaway happens December 6.

(Aurora, Ind.) - South Dearborn High School's boys and girls basketball teams recently got into the Christmas spirit.
The teams spent time assembling 47 Christmas trees and testing lights to support the Dearborn County Recycling Center's annual Christmas Giveaway.
The Christmas Giveaway will take place Saturday, December 6 from 9:00 a.m. to noon. The free event allows anyone to pick out holiday decorations, artificial trees, ornaments, gift wrap, craft supplies and more. All of the items that are given away have been donated by the public.
No exchanges or donations are required, and quantity limits may apply so that as many people as possible can have the opportunity to participate.
If you’d like to donate gently used holiday decor, artificial trees (with all parts), ornaments, gift wrap, or similar items, donations are accepted year-round at the Recycling Center drive-thru during business hours. Lights do not need to work; they will be repaired on-site.
Donation drop-off hours:
- Monday–Friday: 9:00am–4:00pm
- Wednesday extended hours: 9:00am–6:00pm
