(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - There is still a chance of some snow tonight in the tri-state, but not as much as first thought.

The National Weather Service was calling for three to five inches of snow to fall in some parts of the Eagle Country 99.3 listening area, but now meteorologists are calling only for a dusting.

Northern Kentucky may see one to two inches, but most of the snow is expected to melt on impact. Friday’s high temperature will be near 57.

Meanwhile, the Ohio River at Cincinnati is due to reach flood stage this weekend. Flood stage is 52 feet, and the river is expected to crest at about 52.3 feet Saturday night. A Flood Advisory is in effect for areas along the river until Tuesday morning, but that may switch to a Flood Warning upon the river reaching flood stage.

There is a Flood Warning in effect for the Great Miami River at Miamitown, which is running about two feet above the 16-foot flood stage as of Friday morning.
