SLSD students returned to school for in-person instruction on Tuesday.

(Harrison, Oh.) – No student will go hungry at Southwest Local Schools the rest of this year.
The USDA and the state of Ohio have determined that all students, regardless of financial situation, may participate in school breakfast and lunch programs for free through December 31, 2020.

Starting yesterday, no child is required to pay for breakfast or lunch meals at any Southwest Local School.
Extra entrees, snacks, individual milk and other special items are not covered by the USDA and state waiver but will be available for purchase.
SLSD asks all families complete an online application for free and reduced lunch by clicking here.
