(Hamilton County, Oh.) - A short-term full closure of Interstate 275 North at the Ohio-Indiana border will be in effect tonight for truss removal.

Crews from ODOT District 8's Traffic Department will be removing the box truss on northbound I-275 which carries the "Welcome to Ohio" sign at the Indiana state line due to its age and deterioration.

Work will begin tonight, September 4, at 10 p.m. with a single-lane (right lane) closure while crews erect a crane to be used in the truss removal, and this will be followed by a full closure of the northbound lanes beginning at any time thereafter.

The closure will be in effect until approximately 2 a.m., and throughout the operation, traffic will be controlled by ODOT maintenance forces. To detour and avoid delays, motorists may use the Belleview Drive interchange and U.S. 50 in Indiana to Kilby Road and I-275 in Ohio.
