Dearborn County Sheriff Shane McHenry is welcoming all to a school safety event in Lawrenceburg on September 27.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - School safety and the threats to our schools will be the topic of a free seminar this Friday in Lawrenceburg.
The Dearborn County Sheriff’s Office and Lawrenceburg Community School Corporation are hosting the seminar by SchoolGuard and Hero 911. It will be held Friday, September 27 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel in Lawrenceburg. Attendees should arrive no later than 8:45 a.m.
The free seminar is open to any first responder, educator, or business in the region.
Lt. Col. Dave Grossman will be the keynote speaker of the seminar. A renowned author, soldier and school safety expert, Grossman is one of the world’s foremost experts in the field of human aggression and the roots of violence and violent crimes.
