Shelter in Place Lifted After Gas Leak in Milan

The incident took place Sunday afternoon.

(Milan, Ind.) - A gas leak was reported on Sunday afternoon in Milan. 

According to Ripley County EMA, a Shelter in Place was ordered within a two-mile radius of 8490 E. Old State Road 350. The leak also caused a portion of Old State Road 350 to be temporarily closed. 

The gas leak was shut off around 2:10 p.m. and the shelter in place was lifted shortly after. 

There were no injuries reported.
