I-275 will close in 15-minute increments beginning Wednesday night and into Thursday morning.

(Boone County, Ky.) – More traffic restrictions are coming this week in northern Kentucky.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 6 announced today that crews will be removing power lines over Interstate 275 in the Graves Road project area beginning Wednesday, July 8.
The work will require rolling roadblocks starting at 8:00 p.m. on the east and westbound lanes. Both directions will be closed at the same time in 15-minute increments throughout the night. All lanes are expected to reopen by 2:00 a.m. Thursday morning.
According to the KYTC, the eastbound closure will start just west of the Carroll Cropper Bridge on the Kentucky side of the river. The on-ramp to I-275 eastbound will be closed at Petersburg.
As for the westbound closure, it will start at the Airport exit with the on-ramp to I-275 westbound being closed.
Motorists should expect significant delays and use alternate routes when possible.
