The project will see the creation of a new entrance to the Main Terminal, among other things.

(Hebron, Ky.) – Tri-state area travelers will find it a bit easier to access Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport after an upcoming construction project.
Crews will begin working on a new entrance road and improved access to CVG this week, reports the NKY Tribune.
The project will see the creation of a new entrance to the Main Terminal and connection to a new consolidated rental car facility that is scheduled to open in late 2021.
Crews will also be tasked with eliminating the wide, sweeping loop that supported former Terminals 1 and 2, partial demolition to the terminal garage and traffic flow changes on the arrival and departure ramps.
The roadway project is expected to be completed by November 2019. Construction of the rental car facility is scheduled to begin in June 2019.
CVG officials say traffic patterns will change regularly throughout the project. Travelers can find out which areas will be impacted by visiting www.cvgairport.com.
