Road Closures for 8th Annual Cruisin to a Cure for ALS

The car show returns to downtown Lawrenceburg this Sunday.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - The 8th annual Cruisin to a Cure for ALS Car Show takes place this Sunday in downtown Lawrenceburg. 

Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. and runs until noon (enter at Walnut Street). Cost is $20 per vehicle with all proceeds going to the ALS Association. 

With the car show comes street closures in downtown Lawrenceburg. 

No parking along the car show route starting Sunday, May 5th at 4 am.  Vehicles remaining in the car show route at 6:00 am on Sunday, May 5th are subject to towing at personal expense.

The following roads & parking lots will be closed on Sunday from 6 AM to 6 PM:

• Walnut St. between Todd Ln. to High St.

• West High St. closed to Dearborn County jail

• East High St. closed to east side of Civic Park between Alley at Short St & Elm St.

• Vine St. from High St. to Alley between High St. & William St.

• Mary St. between High St. & William St.

• Mural lot on High St. next to Strong’s pizza

• City hall (food vendors only)

• Community Center & Todd Creech Park

• Behind public library

• Parking lot across from the courthouse

Directions to FREE parking at Ivy Tech parking garage located at E High St & Elm St

• US 50 to Arch St., right on Center St., left on Elm St., entrance to parking garage at E. High St. & Elm St.

•US 50 to Hollywood Blvd. which turns into Center St., left on Elm St. entrance to parking garage at E. High St. & Elm St.

ALL streets will reopen on Sunday, May 5th at 6:00 pm
