Rising Sun’s Summer Sound on Main Announced

(Rising Sun, Ind.) Ohio County Tourism, Inc. will be kicking off its event season with Rising Sun’s Summer Sound on Main. 

The event will take place on June 26 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the corner of Main and Poplar Streets 

“We selected ‘Rising Sun’s Summer Sounds on Main’ as the name in case we determine to organize future events but change genres of music,” said Kendal Miller, Ohio County Tourism, Inc., executive director 

Bluegrass bands Cull Hollow and Appalachian Grass will be the entertainment for this event. 

There will also be food and arts and crafts vendors. 

A Kid’s Zone with a bounce house an slide will be present at no charge. 

Rising Sun’s Summer Sound on Main is free and will take place rain or shine. 

Attendees should bring their own lawn chairs.
