Rising Sun-Ohio County Schools Make The Switch To Virtual Learning

A staff member with exposure to a large number of students has tested positive for COVID-19.

(Rising Sun, Ind.) – Rising Sun-Ohio County Community Schools are making the switch to virtual learning.

The school corporation announced Wednesday that virtual learning will start Thursday, October 29. Students will return to in-person classes on Monday, November 9.  

According to a Facebook post, a staff member in a unique position with exposure to a large number of students has tested positive for COVID-19.

All close contacts will be notified by the school nurses.

If you do not receive a phone call, your child is not mandated to quarantine.

The school corporation says plans to obtain student devices will be announced today.
