Ripley County Sheriff's Office Makes Water Rescue

(Batesville, Ind.) - The Ripley County Sheriff's Office completed a water rescue on Wednesday. 

Deputy Bob Curl and Trooper Vince Scott went out in the floodwaters along Salem Road to rescue a citizen that was trapped on his vehicle. 

The citizen, whose name was not released, was safely returned to the shoreline without injury. 

The Ripley County Sheriff's Office reminds motorists to never drive over flooded roadways.
