(Ripley County, Ind.) - Some Ripley County residents are making their debut in a local book.
Anjali Fong, also known as “Fong” is introducing her first photography book in an exhibition event October 14-20. The public can view the exhibition Tuesday-Friday, October 15-18 from 3-6 PM each day. Saturday and Sunday, October 19-20, the viewing will be open 1-6 PM each day.
Ripley 200 is a tribute to 200 different South Ripley residents who make up the community. They are presented by a photograph and a short paragraph to share their stories.
The author tells Eagle Country 99.3, “The book and exhibition are opportunities for us all to get to know each other better.”
Fong is a Malaysian native who moved to Versailles 10 years ago. She started the project as a bicentennial project, which turned to a beloved hobby.
The event will be held at Voldico Insurance, 420 S. Buckeye St., in Osgood from 6-8 PM.
