Congratulations Shivam Patel!
(Osgood, Ind.) - Shivam Patel is the Ripley County Community Foundation's 2026 Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship recipient.
The Jac-Cen-Del High School senior was surprised with the prestigious award last Friday.
The scholarship provides Patel with four years of tuition to an Indiana college or university, along with an annual book stipend.
Patel is the son of Ketan and Vinal Patel.
He has made an impact by participating in National Honor Society, Student Council, Robotics Club, and Rube Goldberg, where he received several achievements and earned multiple accolades. Outside of school, he is a member of Ripley Youth Outreach where he served as President, and he participated in Taekwondo where he received his 1st and 2nd Degree Black Belt and the Outstanding Student Award.
