Ripley County Community Foundation Names 2025 Lilly Scholarship Recipient

This year's recipient is a Ripley County resident, and a Switzerland County student.

(Ripley County, Ind.) - The 2025 Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship recipient may not go to school in Ripley County, but he is a proud resident. 

The Ripley County Community Foundation announced today that Switzerland County High School senior Roman Hite is the recipient of the prestigious full-tuition scholarship. 

Roman has made an impressive impact through his involvement in FFA, serving as President and Vice President of Business Professionals of America, member of the Spanish Club, and Class President. He’s also been active in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Pep Club, and as a dedicated athlete in Varsity Baseball, Soccer, Swimming, and Bowling.

This prestigious scholarship provides Roman with four years of tuition to an Indiana college or university, along with an annual book stipend.
