(Ripley, Co.) - Ripley County is currently working on developing an updated comprehensive plan. The plan will be the essential framework to guide the county's growth and development.
The Ripley County Comprehensive Plan is a collaborative effort that involves county leaders, local departments, non-profits, businesses, emergency services, utility providers, and residents. It will guide growth and development in Ripley County for the years to come.
It is important for the plan to reflect the needs and goals of current residents and businesses and provide a clear direction for the future of Ripley County. The Ripley County Commissioners have partnered with the Planning Team from HWC Engineering to facilitate the planning process.
The HWC Planning Team will host two public open house sessions on Tuesday, June 10 at the Ripley County Annex, located at 102 W First North Street - Versailles, IN. The public is invited to attend a session to learn about the planning process and share their input regarding the future of Ripley County. The first session is from 1:00-2:00pm. Session two is from 5:30-6:30pm.
