Ripley Co. Sheriff's Office Arrests Two With Help Of Multiple Agencies

By Travis Thayer (Ripley County, Ind.) – Two men were arrested following a burglary on July 28. David W. Harmon, 25, and Philip C. Grigsby, 22, both of Holton, were arrested on burglary and theft charges. Ripley County officers investigated a burglary at New Marion Sales where numerous hand tools had been stolen, according to the Ripley County Sheriff’s Office. Through evidence gathered during the investigation, Ripley County officers contacted Greensburg Police, who were investigating a crime in Decatur County where Harmon and Grigsby were suspects in the case. With the assistance of the Indiana State Police Evidence Tech, they were able to gather evidence, obtain search warrants, recover the stolen property and arrest the two men accused of the crime.
