Ripley Co. Clerk: In-Person Absentee Voting Starts Oct. 6

The voter registration deadline is Monday, October 5.

(Ripley County, Ind.) – The November 3 General Election is a little over a month away, and Ripley County voters are being reminded of important dates.

Ripley County Clerk Ginger Bradford says in-person absentee voting will begin on Tuesday, October 6 in the Election Room of the Courthouse Annex in Versailles.

In-person absentee voting will run Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Registered voters may also submit an in-person absentee ballot on Saturday, October 24 and October 31 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Monday, November 2 from 8:00 a.m. to noon.

On election day, polling locations will be open from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Those unable to vote in-person may request an application to vote by mail by contacting the Election Office at 812-689-4783.

Anyone who needs to register to vote should also contact the Election Office. The voter registration deadline is Monday, October 5.
