Relay For Life Altering Spring Meetings

Event organizers say the annual Relay for Life event will go on as planned this May.

(Dearborn County, Ind.) - Events leading up to Relay for Life are being altered.

A meeting scheduled for Monday, March 16 is being changed to a drive-by meeting, according to Relay for Life of Dearborn & Ohio Counties.

Event leadership will be at Tequila’s in Aurora starting at 6:30 p.m. to accept any money or forms that community members want to turn in and copies of any forms and flyers anyone needs.

April’s meeting will be switched from a drive-by to an actual meeting. A date and location is TBD.

“We want to remind you that while we are changing these meeting dates, we are not cancelling the Relay and we all need to continue to work towards making this year’s event a memorable one,” said Josh Richey, event organizer.

The annual Relay for Life of Dearborn & Ohio Counties is set for Saturday, May 16 at Todd Creech Memorial Park in Lawrenceburg. The event will run from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
