Natural snowfall expected this weekend will help Perfect North Slopes with much better skiing conditions.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - After a rare January closure, Perfect North Slopes will reopen to skiers, snowboarders and snowtubers Friday.
Last weekend’s rain and some warm weather reaching into the 60s forced the ski area in Lawrenceburg to suspend operations on Tuesday, January 8. The unseasonably warm weather had a deteriorating effect on snow conditions.
Perfect North Slopes announced Thursday that it would reopen on Friday, January 11 at 1:00 p.m. Not all terrain at the ski area will be able to reopen Friday, according to the Perfect North Slopes website.
But weather has returned to more normal temperatures in the latter part of this week, allowing for snowmaking and rebuilding the ski runs the past two days. Some fresh powder will be gifted from Mother Nature this weekend, with four to six inches of snowfall expected Saturday into Sunday morning.
