The snowfall total for December 2 doubled a nearly 100-year-old record.

CINCINNATI - A record amount of snow fell overnight in the tri-state area.
Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) saw 4.3 inches of snow, breaking the previous daily record of 2.2 inches set on December 2, 1929.
Regionally, Rushville received the most snowfall at 6.8 inches.
Other area snowfall totals include:
- Cleves, Oh: 4.8 inches
- Florence, Ky: 4.5 inches
- Union, Ky: 4.4 inches
- Hebron, Ky: 4.3 inches
- Aurora, Ind: 4.0 inches
