(Ripley County, Ind.) - The Ripley County Community Foundation would like to welcome their new Board President, Ben Peetz. Ben has been a part of the Community Foundation’s Board since 2021 and has served as the Vice President since 2022. Ben shares, “The Ripley County Community Foundation has such a positive impact on so many aspects of our community, and I am proud to play a small role in that amazing effort. We have a great team of staff and directors who give so much of themselves, and I am excited to be entrusted in a role where I am able to support those efforts.”

The Community Foundation is also welcoming two new board members, Cindy Cottingham and Steve Mathes. Cindy has previously dedicated her time to the Community Foundation by serving on grant committees and is excited to dive in even further. She shares, “I have long recognized and respected the important work RCCF does in our area and hope to be able to use my talents and time alongside other dedicated board members to contribute meaningfully to the quality of life here in Ripley County.”

Steve Mathes has also been involved in the Community Foundation and is “excited about joining the board because of the many ways it can help support Ripley County and its residents.” Steve further shares, “I’ve had the opportunity to meet some of the wonderful non-profit groups supporting our area, through grants, etc. and I’ve seen the RCCF support several of those groups and the impact they can have. I’m looking forward to the opportunity to help be part of that as we continue to make Ripley County a great place to live.”

We are excited to have these passionate individuals sharing their time with the Community Foundation, assisting us in making Ripley County a more vibrant community.
