All nonprofit organizations which serve Holton are invited to apply.

(Ripley County, Ind.) - The Ripley County Community Foundation is accepting grant applications for the Holton Warhorses Legacy Fund. All nonprofit organizations which serve Holton are invited to apply for up to $500 in grant funding to support a charitable program or project. The Holton Warhorses Legacy Fund will accept applications now until June 30th.

In the wake of the devastating 2012 tornado that struck the town of Holton, claiming lives and causing widespread destruction, the community foundation stepped up to collect donations and aid recovery efforts and fund the construction of a storm shelter. Although the storm shelter was never built, the fund, now called the Holton Warhorses Legacy Fund, has grown substantially over time.

The Holton Warhorses Legacy Fund application must be submitted virtually via the Ripley County Community Foundation website at https://rccfonline.org/grants/30th.

The Ripley County Community Foundation is committed to Connecting People Who Care with Causes that Matter and is located at 13 E. George Street, Suite B, Batesville. To learn how you can invest in the future of Ripley County, or to leave your legacy, contact the Ripley County Community Foundation at (812) 933-1098 or visit www.rccfonline.org
