Railroad Track Maintenance Underway Downtown Lawrenceburg

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - CSX has begun Railroad track maintenance in downtown Lawrenceburg. 

Several intersecting streets the project will impact include: 

  • Charlotte St. Lawrenceburg IN  
  • Mary St. Lawrenceburg IN  
  • Adjacent Alley  
  • Walnut St. Lawrenceburg IN  
  • Short St. Lawrenceburg IN  
  • Arch St Lawrenceburg IN  
  • High St Lawrenceburg IN  
  • Indiana Gaming Lawrenceburg IN 

Currently crews are removing railroad ties.  

On June 21 CSX plans to begin replacing railroad ties and concrete curbing which will cause temporary road closures. 

The project is expected to be finished on June 25. 

Expect intermittent lane closures throughout the entirety of the project.  

Flagmen will be in place for safe traffic controls. Please use caution while traveling in this area.  

All construction schedules are weather contingent.
