Railroad Crossings Reopen in Batesville After Thursday Night Malfunction

Crews worked into the early morning hours to fix the issue.

(Batesville, Ind.) - Two railroad crossings were closed overnight in Batesville. 

According to Batesville Police, railroad crossing malfunctions caused closures at State Road 129 and State Road 46 and at Coonhunters Road. 

The closures went into place around 9:38 p.m.

The railroad company was notified of the issue and arrived on the scene to make repairs. 

Both crossings reopened early this morning.
